When reverse engineering a product, our engineers focus on getting to the root of the problem, taking it apart and analyzing its contents so that they can perform necessary repairs. They repair undocumented products, provide solutions for manufacturing defects, and assure the highest quality control. If a client has a product with no accompanying schematics, data, diagrams or information, DEX will reverse engineer the product and then provide this information to the client—saving them up to millions of dollars versus the cost of purchasing new products.

Additionally, our engineers are able to perform other specialized reverse engineering services as needed, including:

• Provide a product failure analysis to the client that demonstrates the failure rate for specific components. This information is vital because it can lead to product redesign, reducing overall failures.
• Recommend upgrades (i.e., Engineering Change Orders), which give the client information about the product such as whether or not a product is broken, why it broke, and how to prevent it from occurring in the future
• Provide the schematics to the client, allowing them to perform the repair themselves or have DEX repair the product
