Quality Processes
DEX believes that quality begins with tight, rigorous processes that meet and exceed our clients’ expectations. We deploy many Six Sigma processes and protocols in our daily operations. DEX’s California, Ohio, and Ireland facilities are ISO 9001:2000 certified, including ISO 13485:2003 certification at our Ireland and California locations and ISO 14001 certification in Ireland. All DEX facilities maintain full-time, dedicated quality managers who continually refresh their knowledge with training and educational courses. As a result, they are aligned to industry best practices and initiatives that can be incorporated in DEX solutions.
RoHS and WEEE Compliance
As a responsible industry steward, DEX complies with state and federal regulations for recycling and the disposal of electronic material. DEX’s strict management procedures are green and good for the environment. The RoHS (Restriction of Hazardous Substances) directive restricts the use of six specific hazardous materials in the manufacture of various types of electronic and electrical equipment by members of the European Union. As a company concerned about the environment, DEX strives to comply with the RoHS directive.
The European Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment directive (WEEE) applies to a wide range of electronic and electrical products. WEEE encourages the collection, treatment, recycling, and recovery of electrical and electronic waste equipment. As environmental issues and directives are introduced into the marketplace, DEX is committed to incorporating the appropriate environmentally-friendly and compliant procedures into all internal processes.
