About DEX - Corporate Social Responsibility
Giving our best to the environment and our community means more to DEX than simply being a leader in supply chain services. That is why it's so important to us to be a socially responsible corporate citizen. To show our support, we formed the DEX Corporate Service Initiative, a corporate social responsibility program that encourages DEX employees to care for others. DEX helps its employees contribute to educational, environmental and social good and employs our resources and technology to create innovative programs to address these issues.
Educational Responsibility
DEX believes that education is essential to personal growth and improved quality of life. To spread this message, eDEXdeals.com, a subsidiary of DEX, introduced the eDEXdeals Knowledge 4 Kids program. eDEXdeals Knowledge 4 Kids supports nonprofit youth-serving organizations focused on providing education, Internet access, computer training and job-skills development to deserving children around the world.
Environmental Responsibility
DEX strives to be part of building a new energy economy and reducing the carbon emissions that contribute to global warming. DEX Renewables, an environmentally conscious division of DEX dedicated to providing repair, parts and logistics, was created to support companies worldwide that provide alternative energy solutions. DEX Systems, the IT division of DEX, provides green and efficient software solutions through their proprietary Reverse Logistics modules that effectively address issues such as waste reduction, environmentally negative materials reduction, and resource conservation.
Social Responsibility
DEX sponsors local organizations, including Casa Pacifica, which provides residential treatment, emergency shelter care, assessments, educational programs, family support, medical services and community-based interventions to abused and neglected children and adolescents. DEX also organizes relief drives and raises money to help these children throughout the year.
